Spectrum Youth and Family Services is a community-based nonprofit organization with more than 38 years of experience in providing housing and support services to youth. We help homeless, foster, and at-risk youth navigate a successful transition to a productive adulthood.Spectrum has the unique capacity to support and help young people address factors that can interfere with their transition to adulthood such as mental health, physical health, joblessness, and substance abuse. Youth have access to our emergency shelter, long-term residential program, mental health and substance abuse counseling, educational services and an employment program, and much more. Young people whose lives are unimaginably unstable and traumatic, but who manage to show up at our door day after day, continually inspire us. The Spectrum One Stop model continues to be successful because all the services are accessible in one building the Spectrum staff work together as a cohesive team supporting the young people's transition to independence.Our services impact the community by guiding young people in making a transition to a successful adulthood—becoming productive members of society. In fact, Spectrum's former clients have even become full-time staff members, wanting to give back to an agency that helped them get their lives back on track.
